The Argentine Chamber of Commerce in Benelux organized the afterwork event promoting Argentina’s tourist and productive regions, as well as ITA Airways’ new flight frequencies between Europe and Argentina, in collaboration with Aerolíneas Argentinas.
The Argentine Chamber of Commerce in Benelux organized this promotional event, which highlighted Argentina’s rich tourist and productive regions, along with ITA Airways’ new routes and services. The Italian airline, aiming to enhance connectivity between Europe and Argentina, showcased its latest developments, including additional flight frequencies and modern aircraft.
ITA Airways announced that, starting in June 2024, it will increase its flights between Europe and Argentina, end to end from Belgium to any domestic destination to a total of nine weekly frequencies. This expansion responds to the growing demand from travelers between the two countries and reaffirms Argentina’s importance as a key destination for both European tourists and business travelers.
One of the highlights of the presentation was the strengthening of the strategic alliance between ITA Airways and Aerolíneas Argentinas. Thanks to this codeshare agreement, passengers traveling from Europe, including Belgium, can now purchase a single ticket that will allow them to fly from Brussels to Buenos Aires and seamlessly connect to over 30 domestic destinations across Argentina, such as Iguazú, Bariloche, Córdoba, and Ushuaia. Travelers will also benefit from streamlined services, including joint passenger check-in and baggage handling from their point of origin to their final destination.
The event emphasized the positive impact this enhanced connectivity will have on both tourism and commercial relations between Argentina and Europe. The Argentine Chamber of Commerce in Benelux highlighted the importance of such initiatives in boosting Argentina’s visibility, not only as an attractive tourist destination but also as a country with vast productive and investment opportunities.
In addition to the Rome-Buenos Aires route, ITA Airways offers direct flights to other major South American cities, such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Lima. This expanded network addresses the increasing demand from passengers seeking faster and more efficient connections between Europe and the region.
The participation of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce in Benelux in this event underscores its commitment to promoting business and tourism opportunities in Argentina. The presentation by ITA Airways, in partnership with Aerolíneas Argentinas, strengthens connectivity between the two continents, benefiting both business and leisure travelers and facilitating easier access to key destinations in Argentina from Europe, particularly from Belgium.
